oil in gas

friend of mine had a bad injector he replaced it but it didn't seal all the way in he eventually started losing oil pressure he checked the oil and it had diesel fuel in it so he changed his oil in a parking lot when he was done he didn't no what to do with the oil he figured it was mostly gas so he dumped it in his tank then he drove it home I helped him put the injector back in but now it wont start he has an air dog on it I was wondering what any one thinks I took the stock oil filter off cause I thought it wasn't priming and it had blackish gas in it any one have any suggestions on what to do next gonna go help him today I just changed all my injectors about 2 months ago only problem I had was sleeve came out. he has a 03 duramax with air dog cold air intake and edge programmer

I have run a lot of used motor oil (UMO) in my LB7 but I filter it really good first. The only times I ran into trouble was when I didnt

The umo will clog up fuel filters real fast if not filtered first before putting it in your tank. I would drain the tank and replace the fuel filter and see how that goes.

The older mechanical injectors where more tolerant of umo but not these high pressure common rail engines
