new and need help
 

hi guys im new to diesel bombers but im joined in hopes of finding out a solution to my problem with my 2001 chevy silverao 2500hd with the lb7. so a little background my truck has a ats trans and converter with copilot. running efi live and some upgrades. So i just rebuilt the motor over the past few weeks do to having a cracked head. Got it all back together and motor runs good but wont rev past 1800 rpmand all the lights on the copilot are lighting up with it turned all the way down. I dont know what to do do or where to start with this problem. Thanks in advanced.

i would first return it to stock/unhook copilot, etc and see if there is any change

any codes? will it rev higher in park after clearing any codes?

limp mode restricts RPM to 2000 rpm but power declines after 1800 RPM. limp mode should set a code, if no codes then suspect a restriction in fuel supply. pinched or kinked hose, clogged filter...

alright i have unhooked the co pilot and and cleared codes and still no change but no change from idle to actually driving it down the road boost gage reads zero where it normally runs 25-30 psi i did forget to put trans fluid back in after i lost it on the rebuild but didnt drive it like that and once again thank you
