No smoke!!!

I have a 03 duramax jus put new injectors in and it does not smoke I'm even running a ppe hot+2 on level 4 an still will barely smoke , does anyone know why that is an what I can do to make it smoke again?

MillerBoyzDiesel 05-06-2013 08:23 AM

It probably was smoking more than normal due to injectors being bad.

Is is a good thing it doesn't smoke. Don't be an :asshat: smoke is for people who can't tune properly!

Please do not use Diesel power mag as a technical reference material lol. I don't think he is referring to light haze or any sanctioned racing/pulling truck. Heavy bellows of Smoke on the street is no longer cool if it ever was. Just gives the cops another reason to write a ticket and the epa more ammunition to kill the enjoyment we have driving diesel trucks.

Just because somebody throws a ton of money and a pickup doesn't mean it is tuned correctly....:argh:

Wow, you really don't understand anything I have said do you....

When people ask for smoke that means they have no idea of how to tune a truck for power, all they want is smoke.

Seems like you are one of those people who thinks smoke is the coolest thing around, well I am here to burst your bubble it is not!

True lovers of the diesel sport try their hardest to minimize smoke to gain the most usable power.

i didnt ask for smoke and my truck personal doesnt smoke much and there is nothing wrong with smoke if your truck does smoke and there are very powerful trucks that do smoke like crazy but sometimes it is nice to have a smokeless powerful diesel but i am not a fan of " o your truck smoke it not tuned properly" i get pist when i see those words:pca1:
