Help!! truck keeps Shutting off
 

Hi i have a 2003 chevy duramax and this thing just shuts off on me going down the road and sometimes starts right back up. But sometimes it doesnt and when i go to start it sometimes it clicks clicks clicks then starts to turn over. Also where i am supposed to read the driver info i cant read it sometimes it honestsly looks like arabic writing. REALLY REALLY CONFUSED PLEASE HELP? tried a new starter and didnt fix it

Have you checked your batteries or alternator? I was told they will leave you stranded without proper voltage because they are so dependent on it for injectors. I have also had trouble with mine shutting off when o-rings where leaking on filter housing because it runs off vacuum. Not exactly sure though. Probably be best to get codes read:w2:

Yes I checked both are good I don't understand why my driver information is unreadable sometimes. sorry I just need a little help it look likes Arabic writing like all the writing is distorted. cant figure out whats going on really upset with the truck right now.

Sounds like you could have a loose ground or connection somewhere. The cluster can display three or four different languages, I have seen them default back to other than English at times. Ive run across one that would reset to Spanish, you could go in and change it back to English but, it would only stay a short time before going back to Spanish. A diff. cluster fixed this. The clusters in these trucks are junky but, can be repaired. However, idk if the language part can be repaired or just have to replace the whole thing.
