New to DB looking to buy a 6.5
 

Hey DB, new to the forum but i have been working with diesel engines for awhile, mostly cummins, cat's and the older 2 stroke Detroit's. I'm currently looking at buying a 1994 Chevrolet 3500hd quad cab 5spd with a 6.5td. For the last few days i have been reading the forum and have gotten more comfortable with buying this truck. It has been converted to the manual IP and has marine infectors, i saw a few good pointers on things to check, so before i buy ill give her the run down. Just wanted to say thank you for the great information, hopefully all will go well with my purchase.

Dont buy into the marine injector thing all they are is a regular injector with a fancy name and a bigger price tag,Good luck with you're truck purchase :tu:

X2 marine injectors are a waste of cash
