87 6.2 glow light wont ever shut off
New to the forum and new to diesels... a few weeks a go i picked up an 87 suburban with a 6.2 nt...... its ran great no problems, but this morning the glow plug light would not ever go off. i drove it to work (only 1 mile) and unplugged the batterys until i could figure out wtf.. Thoughts?

does it have a manual GP relay no one told you about? how cold? could be after glow.
highly doubt it on a manual relay. its not cold, 70's. the light stays on even when key is not in it . I've had zero issues for the past few weeks that ive had it. and i havent changed anything or messed with anything. only thing i did was an oil change the day i got it

check the GP relay see if it is getting constant power
(pardon my newbishness) is the relay the part on the back of the intake drivers side?
yea it looks like a starter solenoid
On the 6.2 it is on the left(drivers side) fender, or inside the fender, just above the wheel well shield. It does look like a starter solenoid from a ford product.....
