OK so truck stoped running. replaced the pdm, cause truck was showing symptons of bad pdm.. ok so that wasn't it.. i check the codes and i had a 13... shutoff selonoid.. changed that.. no worky. now im throwing a code 12??? no code chart i've seen has that number.. anybody have any ideas? please help.:scare2:

also.. before it completly died, for ac ouple of days the ses light would come on when slowing down or at a stop.. when i would start to accelerate it would go off.

are you checking the codes with a scanner or by the check engine light?

A "12" flashed out 3 times simply means the PCM is in diagnostic mode.

It starts and finishes with the three "12" flashouts indicating the start and stop of any active or stored fault codes.

If there are no additional flashout codes between the two sets of "12", then PCM doesn't "see" anything wrong and you have to troubleshoot the no start condition with more conventional means....

so the computer doesnt see a problem humm.. ok. so i changed the pdm and full shutoff selenoid.. all grounds look good. have fuel in with the fuel filter.. has pressure in with filter after everytime i try to crank her.. could it be the I.P.?? it actually doent look like its original, looks clean for being where its at and everything else looks dirty.. only had the truck for 6months and a buddy of mine had it for 4years, he never changed it.. the truck does have 318k miles.. any suggestions on what it could be?

if the injection pump is going out, would it througha code?

Ok problem fixed. Aparrently when the fuel shutoff selenoid went bad and i was trying to start it drained the fuel in the fuel filter causing air in the system. But i still had to run a wire to the positive side of battery to the g port in the obd1 connector jump starting the lift pum:c:p.
