Exhaust
I plan on putting a 3" to 4" down pipe and 4" straight on my 2000 6.5 does the x over pipe need to b upgraded too or is it ok to run :humm:
|
it doesnt have to be, but it would be a good idea. they are only like $50-$100
|
Depends.
They are double wall and have been known to collapse inside resulting in not being able to even roll a golf ball through it. If it's rusted out and leaking, go ahead and get a mandrel bent crossover.... |
Do the golf ball test
|
I'd go stainless with whatever you get, I hate doing an exhaust again in a few years to save a few bucks now.

Who makes a Stainless Xover? Do they salt the roads in WV?
Leroy |
Yeah they salt the roads in WV. They use a salt calcium mix that's hard on everything
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- ssdiesel.com sales a 2 piece stainless 2.25" crossover for $100 and a 3" in to 4" downpipe for $119 |

Are the pipes from ssdiesel not very good? Who makes the best ones?
|
They're ok.
They're made by heartthrob exhaust. Most complaints around ssdiesel involve customer service and unsupported claims of performance. Some have had no issues in customer service with them. Hense; good luck. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
