Transfer Case
my 1994 k2500 has started jumping out of gear at the transfer case stick in 2 wd or 4wd high. have checked the mts mtr and tranny u joints cv joints and fliud levels it has 216000 miles and tires are all the same size. it does this at highway speeds no load? where do i start looking. are there syncronizer in the transfer case?:argh:

Bent shifting fork possibly from trying to get it in or out of 4x4 in a bind.

youshouldnt be going over 35mph with it in 4 HI......sounds like with that many miles its just wore out.....

no 4 hi, its hard on your cv's and t-case, plus it makes your steering erratic.........if you need 4x4 to do over 35 mph you need to slow down cause the roads are way too nasty to be driving on at that speed.....

well i was only doing 45 mph in 2wd and it still would jump out of gear. does any one have a parts breakdown of the transfer case it is a new process

Which case is it? I have a Np241DlD out of a 96 dodge for sale if that would work in yours. It came off of a auto trans.
