94 6.5 suburban BAD FUEL SUPPLY AND RETURN LINES

Just had to replace my lift pump a few days ago, and while doing so, I realized how bad my fuel supply line and my fuel return lines are. I have three very slow leaks that I want to get rid of. Anybody here run anything other than stock fuel lines as replacements?

I can get both lines off the motor as well as both lines coming out of the fuel tank. However, I can only get the return intermediate return line, but no intermediate supply line part number 15722274. That line has been discontinued and I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I had to replace the two off the motor cuz they were leaking and when I was attaching the return line to the intermediate return line the fitting snapped off. RUST! I figure while I'm under the truck I might as well replace the rest of the lines because they show a lot of rust too.

Thanks DSS... I have been considering running stainless steel lines. I think I might also run one way check valves to avoid making a huge mess with residual fuel in the lines if I need to replace anything im the future. I am sure I will have to drop the tank and drop a new fuel sender in as well. All my fittings are so rusted as well. What a p.i.t.a. I'll let you know what I decide to use... Need to get it done before temps drop.

So I repaired my supply and return leaks... then my lift pump quit on me again! This time it was the ops. I hot wired the lift pump and ran it this way for a while until my IP quit on me! Will this ever end?? LOL She's running really strong right now... after getting new marine injectors, a new IP, new PMD and heatsink, and new GP's. Now I have a coolant leak!!! At least it isn't a head gasket... yet!
