Throttle Surge

Have made a lot of progress with the "97" 6.5. Its been running great do to suggestions from you guys. Last week I lent it to my dad. It coded on him and I thought it may be EGR problem again. NOT! I ran a couple tests to see if it could be fuel related, nope. I disconnected batteries to reset ECM. Got in it and drove it went awesome but about 15 miles out it went into a head fit. Throttle non-responsive, and just would surge from idle to 1500 rpm. Long drive to work this am. Does anyone have any ideas. I'm thinking is there a throttle positioning sensor maybe gone bad? Thanks for any input, Fishman

could be PMD going out on you. You don't usually see throttle pedal go bad lot time maybe dirty plugs

What codes are you getting if any

No codes right now Crazy but think am going to be buying PMD soon can't trust to drive it. I put ice pack on top of cooling fins and didn't take long for it to start and go normal. But acted up shortly.
