95 6.5 turbo diesel Tahoe, starting issues
I have a 1995 2 door chevy tahoe with a 6.5 tb stock from the factory. Recently its had some starting issues. It turns over and attempts to start but doesn't fire up. Over the past few days if I tried to start it a few times it would fire up but yesterday I held the key in the start position and the truck attempted to start but didn't. Can anyone give me some advice or a possible solution? Thanks!

check your glow plugs is wts light comming on

I've been thinking it could be the glow plugs. What is the WTS light?

wait to start light (WTS) is what i believe he meens. mine was near impossible to start when my glow plugs in #6 & #8 where hooped. pull the plugs & run a continuity check and/or resistance check. there very easy, infinite resistance meens open circuit and the plug is cooked. another thing to bear in mind is the stupid GM design of the glow plug harness floating right beside the exhaust manifold and could be shorting. good luck.

Thanks for the info! I think I'm gonna order the Bosch glow plugs from Heath diesel and hopefully that will fix the problem.

After all of the trouble I am having w my 6.5TD, I am starting to put more faith in what my grandfather says, "Buy a Cummins"!:tu: But, we got what we got and I guess we will all just be on here complaining about the fuel system together!:c:
