Where to buy reman 5521 injection pump?
 

Hi guys,

I'm new to the site but I've been reading on here quite a bit since getting my Suburban trying to sort things out. It's a 95 6.5TD.

Currently I'm pretty sure I need a new IP, it was diagnosed over the phone by Bill Heath based on my symptoms and a "2500 rpm" test. The PMD has already been relocated to the front bumper.

My main question is where to buy the pump. The cheapest option I can find is from Pensacola Diesel for $450 without the PMD. SS Diesel has one less PMD for $599. Kennedy sells a new unit for $1195.

I need to know about the reputations of Pensacola and SS Diesel Supply for their rebuilt pumps. I would prefer to hear from those of you who have first hand experience dealing with one of the shops.

Also, if anyone knows of any better options where I can find one, please let me know.

Well i have few buddy that gotten pump from both places and they been running for more then yrs now
