are you getting any codes the next time it don't after shut it do pour some water over the injector pump then try starting it and if you are getting codes clear them see if they come back

thor08 12-12-2010 07:47 PM

No I'm not getting any codes that's what didn't make any since to me

Crazy 12-12-2010 07:50 PM

sounding more more like PMD from one thing you going to move it to front bumper on a heat sink it last lot longer they can't take the heat be under the hood

thor08 12-12-2010 07:56 PM

Can you test a PMD to see if they are bad? Where do you buy them and how much do they run?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Is their a kit to get to put them on the bumper?

PMD Isolators for GM 96-01 6.5T

thor08 12-12-2010 08:14 PM

Ok thankyou. What is th is and why should I take it off? If I take off what will happen?

Crazy 12-12-2010 08:19 PM

if you talking about the PMD on pump now just leave it if going south on you why would want pull the intake off just to remove it when it bad just get new one with heat sink put in front bumper

thor08 12-12-2010 08:21 PM

Oic. I have a aftermarket pmd mounted on the driver side of the intake.

Crazy 12-12-2010 08:34 PM

ok just make wire harness longer and put in front bumper and if you still have one on the injector pump try pluging back into it see how it runs or less you know it bad

What about the throttle switch on the pedal, a short or bad ground could cause it to idle up. Just a thought.
