att is more expensive new and doesnt really make that ear piercing whistle a hx35 will make but it does a little. as far as pros it doesnt have a wastegate because it was specifically designed for 6.5 power levels so no chance of blowing headgaskets or blocks unless it was going there anyway. it also bolts up to a regular 6.5 downpipe so no fabbin.

Hx35 needs a wastegate as it will run all the way up to the 40 psi range. it also needs a custom 4 inch downpipe that no one makes. it also needs to be ran with intercooler or water/meth to cool down intake charge to keep cylinder pressures down. also needs headstuds to be reliable. for pros it is cheaper if bought used, sounds better in my opinion with all that whistle, and has better aftermarket support.

as far as both side by side it is hard to tell since only one person to my knowledge has ran both turbos and he sold his truck for a cummins. but if i wanted a turbo that didnt require much fabbing and headaches i would vote att. But if you like modifying your vehicles extensively and you got the skills the hx35 might be a fun project to do for a couple weekends

i like my GM8 it WHISTLE like you wouldn't be leave if you have 3.5" down pipe going to 4" exhaust back and cross over and manifold are tight from leaks it will WHISTLE good

yeah but the gm8 leaves a lot to be desired in terms of high rpm usage, iats ,and egts.

i love it. couldnt keep my foot out of it for the first two tanks since i was so addicted to the power and turbo whistle but now i have slowed down so my mpg is way up. a little more than the stock tune actually. tell patrick what you want in the tune and how you want it to perfrom and they will get it done.

sure will I really want a big fuel/big power tune I know these 6.5s won't make power like the cummins or the powerstrokes but they will make some enough to be fun and have a reliable motor
