bragging rights?
What is the average size load you put behind your 6.5? What is the biggest?

well you should not pull with dodge lol
i took an allis chalmbers 200 on a 24 foot goose neck over 400 miles down state and she pulled just as good if not better than our 97 ford f250 with the 7.3 the tractor was 7,324 lbs and im no sure wha te trailer weighed
4 thousand pounds :ouch:
Too much for a light duty 3/4 ton. Pulled one semi loaded with steel out of the snow. The heaviest load I have a number for was a fork lift that weighed 16,000lbs but I don't think that it weighed as much as a old 2010 John Deere crawler with backhoe I used to have. The most I usually tow with it is a fork lift that is 12,500lb. The old truck doesn't do bad and now has over 300,000 miles of abuse on it.

I have pulled a goose neck loaded with scrap metal that weighed just under 7000lbs, but thats about the most i have done :choochoo:
I pulled around 5k with mine but beat my dad in a drag race driving his fairly hot tuned 7.3 with less of a load when my 6.5 was modded at its prime. :tu:
7k worth of scrap plus trailer on my 1/2 ton 6.5td. Truck pulled it great but stopping with the stock 1/2 ton brakes was another deal. Haha
when ours was still running it would see 2-2 1/2 tons of feed in the bed alone ever now and then. And then with trailers ive seen 6 tons plus trailer hauling feed and usually with the 24' we would get 10-12 momma cows on it.
i have pulled a 24 foot gooseneck with dual 7k axles loaded with 12 bales of hay each weighed about 1100# so you do the math
i got a 5 speed dually and i pulled zetor tractor with a front in loader and a 6 X10 for sherredder on the back on a bumper pull and it did ok but i ant sure on the weight
Well, in my Ram 2500 regular gas I towed my double axle trailer with over 18,000 lbs in it, did fine, stopped fine it was a bit slow that was gas, these diesels should handle that up a steep grade while accelerating.
