Crazy 11-21-2010 12:47 PM

wpg6.5 11-21-2010 01:02 PM

thats probably the problem, i never bleed the air out when i re attached my rad hose. i will try that. is there a prefered thermostat for all season for the 6.5. everywhere ive read no one can decide between the 180 190 and 195

Crazy 11-21-2010 01:26 PM

if you do lot towing i go with 180 if not go with 195 it all up you you be safe with any of them

wpg6.5 11-21-2010 01:57 PM

how does using that bleed valve work. in my manual it says to open it when filling until straight fluid comes out but nothing comes out when i open it.

Crazy 11-21-2010 02:03 PM

make sure engine up to temp and open intill coolant come out if you not getting any maybe lot air or you clog

do it with engine running

wpg6.5 11-21-2010 03:49 PM

i just bought a rad flush all new fluid and 2 new 190 ac delco thermostats. i think its the stats kuz the temp keeps fluctuating from too hot to running temp

Crazy 11-21-2010 03:58 PM

well if going to drain the rad it be the time to pull rad out and clean it you won't be leave the dirt that build up in there
