crazy suggested i post this on here so here ya go. i used 1/8th in aluminum plate that i had laying around. A spring, eye bolt and vacuum cap from the local hardware store. i took the factory boost actuator off and marked and drilled the holes from the original mounting holes. i had to trim the plate to fit the curved part of the turbo. then drilled a hole for the eye bolt to pass through. i slipped the open end of the spring onto the actuator lever and the other end on the eye bolt. then put the nut on and tightened it to have a little bit of tension on the spring. i then removed the factory line running from the solenoid to the regulator and capped it off with the vacuum cap. i wouldn't recommend doing this with out a boost gauge. i had to buy a couple different springs to get the boost level right. with each spring i have about a 4psi range of adjustment. right now its set at 11psi of boost wot.

That is a great idea, could I get you to email me these pics so I can see them in a little better quality. I also would like to know what springs you tried and what the results were. justinatstormconstruction@yahoo.com
