6.2 mods and issues
 

Hey guys, long time stalker first time poster. I have an 88 c2500 with a 6.2 in it. A while back I scored a 6.5 turbo setup. Intake, crossover every thing for a song. The turbo was supposedly a fairly new gm8. Now, I installed the set up and no matter what I do I get absolutely zero boost and the truck seems to have less power than before. I recently purchased an hx35, arp studs and 4" diamond eye exhaust but haven't had time to install yet. Now I know the upgrades will help but in the interim I feel as though I should be getting 3 or 4 pounds of boost iff the stock setup. Am I wrong? Is all this an indicator that the guy lied(wouldn't be the first time) and the turbo is bad? Since I sold my money pit duramax this is my go to work truck. I need her to pull a bit better for a few more weeks.. Any advice will be greatly appreciated..Thanks
