Help me Identify this 6.5T

Hello, Please help me identify what i purchased.

I purchased a complete 6.5T engine which I was told came out of a 1998 GMC C3500 cab and chassie truck. I purchased it to install into my 1994 Chevy K2500 which had a 6.5 that cracked.

I wanted to upgrade the newly purchased engine prior to installing it with head studs, and main studs, and maybe a crank girdle?

The casting number: 12555506 I know this is a 506 Block
The Date Code: 05 14 R (or it could be 05 14 K) the alpha charactor is hard to identify.
What date does this equal?

I was expecting the date code to be in this form like this "E 14 7"

The date code does not look like a GM date code.
So, did I purchase a junk China Block ?

I would appreciate your help in determine the year this block was made and who made it, before I install it. I dont want to install a piece of junk. I thought it was a 1998 GM Block but it doesnt appear to be one.

Thanks

K in that configuration would be a 2003 Navistar block I believe
