96 6.5 crank but no start

Alright so over the last 7 months or so ive slowly been getting my truck to run correctly. I replaced the turbo, lifters, head gaskets, exahaust gaskets, intake gasket, glow plugs, filters, oil, and the radiator hoses.

When i finished all of that and put the engine all back together it wouldnt even crank, i took it to the shop and they went through the wiring and soldered some chewed up wires and tightened grounds. So now it cranks but it wont fire.

I towed it back to my house and discovered that the glow plugs are acting strange, as in they turn on for less than half a second. I replaced the controller but it did the same thing. Fuses are good controller is good glow plugs are good and yet it wont fire.

Im stumped any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Coolant temp sensor controls the G.P.'s make sure it's hooked up if so made need replacing use A/C Delco only.

And as a temporary thing you can Jump the two terminals on the G.P.'s with heavy gauge wire.

2 things come to mind are grounds, and PMD . One of my trucks was refusing to start and after exhausting all ease I ran new ground wires to the HP pump, and to the engine stud . No more rouble with that one.The most common problem I have had is with a bad PMD. I have 2 mounted now and a spare in the tool box. They can die in 5 minutes or 3 years.

So i got the glow plugs working. It was a ground. Still no start so i cracked open an injector line and it was bone dry. I replaced the lift pump so now there is fuel pressure at the fuel filter/manager but still no fuel at the injectors

It more than like is a PMD then has yours been relocated already if not now is the time to get a heat sink and 6' harness extension and move it behind the front license plate.
