Here is a picture of the screw I was talking about that when turned clock wise will raise the RPM idle. Is it possible I have it set wrong and could cause my problem

I bought 3 new 6.2/6.5 db2 pumps, paid 800 total. Works great too. They were old stock at a pump shop on the 6.5l page on Facebook

That is the high idle solenoid. yes adjusting that will raise or lower your rpm while it is energized by the cold assist switch on the coolant crossover. That is not your problem.

Okay do you know what that is supposed to run at RPM wise. If it's too low the truck will die when reved

there is no normal situation where you should be able to drop your base idle rpm with that screw. If you can your base idle is set to low. Adjusting that should ONLY adjust high idle rpm which should shut off when engine reaches a set temp. The base idle and max throttle stop screws are on the side of the pump. If you can kill the engine by adjusting the high idle screw you need to adjust your base idle screw up. 750-800 rpm should be fine, high enough to be smooth but not so high that it bangs into gear.
