6.2L Pump Timing Help

Hello, for starters I am very new to everything that will be in this thread so everyones patience and detailed input is very much appreciated. I have an old 6.2L and have been working on it for some time now. The injection pump went bad and I opted to replace it myself due to the high labor costes to do it in shop. I was provided some good help and some poor help and due to the poor help the timing between the IP gear and harmonic balancer was lost. At this time I do not have the know how to determine top dead center for cylinder one so I can align the pump gear mark with the mark on the harmonic balancer. All info I have found involves a great deal of disassembly that I am even less familiar with such as removing valve covers and messing with valve. If anyone knows an simple way to determine TDC for cylinder one please let me know. Again your patience and detailed input is appreciated. Thank you. :argh:

My 6.5 has a timing marker on the block. It's a bitch to see and covered in grease. If you have one, rotate the engine til the mark on the harmonic balancer is at 0° and your #1 cylinder will be at tdc.
