no power steering and maybe no power brakes

we'll fell into a bit of a ditch last night :argh: , dumb coyotes ,got pretty stuck .The burbwas in side ways , both passenger side tires were almost all under water . When I got pulled out immediately the steering was super heavy, and the brakes were really stiff, thought i busted a power steering line , but this morning I jacked it up hosed it all off and checked the level was still fine and clean all the brakes out. Nothing looked bent when I was under either

Just wondering if anybody has any ideas :humm:

Oh it's a 1999 GMC K1500 diesel

Look on back of the power steering pump and see if there is a harness plugged in the high pressure line if so you has a power steering pressure switch and it more than likely has gone out just delete by getting earlier model PS hose.

Yeah i have a connector ,i replaced the old pump and 2 days later i was at full lock coming out of a parking spot and it went again ,bunch of fluid around the cap , and itll all bolt on if i get the older hose?

You will have to delete the switch on back of the PS pump then the hose will attach to pump.
