I have a 6.2 with the Banks Sidewinder turbo in a 1982 K10. The clearance is very tight with the injection pump and my intake manifold/ turbo manifold. You may want to reconsider the use of the 6.5 turbo on the 6.2. The motors are different in a few key ways. First, the turbo 6.5 was made with a lower (static) compression ratio and different heads (and flow characteristics) than the 6.2 normally aspirated motor (probably in large part because the 6.5 was designed to be able to handle to added boost of the turbo from the factory). So, the boost levels that you will be creating from the 6.5 unit will be specifically designed to work with the larger displacement motor with lower compression. Also, the 6.2 fuel injection pump is very complex and you will most likely find issues trying to achieve proper fuel delivery with the 6.5 turbo. Have you thought about buying a 6.2 with the Banks turbo already installed?

a 6.5 Turbo will work fine on the 6.2 You'll have to lift the engine a few inchesto get the Manifold to bolt on, but it will clear. That was a issue when I did it. Dont do more than 6PSI and you'll be fine. Also, get a Boost and a EGT guage. Those old engines, and cant take more than a 1000F.

Look here for instructions on how to install banks. While a 6.5 is different than banks, it has good tips of where to tap for the oil tubes.
