Getting smoked out
 

Just curious if there were any ways to reduce the exhaust coming out of my 6.2L?

i.e. additives, mufflers or something. I'm pretty green about this stuff but driving my Blazer is giving me some pretty solid headaches with all the fumes I'm breathing in.

I figure that can't be 100% normal for the truck. It's running a little rough so I know getting that fixed will help some but still. When it stops smoking and runs fine when warm I'm still getting tons of fumes. (doesn't help that there's a few rust holes in the front floorboard but I figure that can't be the source of all of it).

I figure I could get the pipes running straight out the back maybe instead of out the sides?

Often overlooked is the fact that injectors need rebuilt/replaced every 100,000 miles.

Injectors with a bad spray pattern cause extra smoke and heat.

get all the exhaust leaks fixed and running the exhaust out the back will make it quieter also.

Clean air filter also helps reduce smoke.
