Manual trans conversion
 

Alright been searching for an adapter kit or bell housing to mate a Muncie SM425 manual trans up to my L65. I don't have other trannys to play with and see if they fit, or else ill be doing it. SO my question is what other transmissions besides the 4L80-E fit the bolt pattern on the 6.5??? Is there a kit or a bell housing that will bolt up to the trans and engine or am i S.O.L and need to find another manual trans that will?

400 turbo is the same pattern as the 4L80E

400 turbo is the same pattern as the 4L80E so them old Saginaw 3 and 4 speed would work maybe

Thanks mayhem...Yeah the muncie trans i got is missing its bellhousing.... Go figure :s:

Nv4500 5 speed

Small/bigblock bellhousing is the same but often the block bolts are metric-keep the auto bellhousing bolts.
