Things to do while swapping motors
 

So after a year of owning the truck and having constant problems with it im finally getting around to swapping out the bad motor and putting a lower mile one in. Current motor has 200k miles on it but was not maintained by previous owners. So I have a 97 that's body is gone that im using its motor (187 k KMS not miles).

So I know to swap the front accessories and such over from my 95 motor to the 97 motor and im actually keeping the 95 turbo because according to previous owner the 97 turbo has bad oil seal. I am also replacing the pitman and idler arms when im in there and re doing all the grounds and cross over battery wires.

My question is there other things I should do while the motor is out and accessible ? The injection pump is new as well . when I do it I ll post a thread full of pictures to help others along
