Changed oild and Fuel Filter at same time.

I feel like a dummy for asking this, but I changed my oil tonight and while it was draining decided to pop on a new fuel filter. Not thinking about having to bleed the filter without having the oil pressure back up. I disconected the pink wire on the IP before I cranked it two or three times for ten seconds. How bad of an idea was this?

This was an 85 6.2L.

Should not be a factor, any engine will be lacking oil pressure after an oil change so the result will be nearly the same.

With a mechanical LP your bleeding struggle would be about the same in any case.

About the same circumstance as when a replacement engine is installed.
