6.5 no start cold weather
 
I'm new here... I have a 6.5 turbo that won't start... New pmd new ac delco glow plugs and glow plug mod tested go plug relay and all connector they are all working... And a new starter. What else can I do to get this beast started?

Have your batteries load tested,good batteries are a big deal on these old trucks.Try plugging it in if you can and see if it is any better.:c:

Do not use starting fluid in your 6.5 or you will regret it

Battires are both good tested them it's been plugged is for 2 days is there a
away to test the block heater to see if it is working .?

Have you tested to see if the new glow plugs are all getting power?
Each has their own fusible link adn there is another for each bank of glows-no power from a bad link means no glows.

Better replace the IP return line with clear diesel rated hose and with the truck safely idling watch for bubbles.

Bubbles indicate air getting in the fuel and can cause lots of problems.

Another way air gets in is from leaking o-rings in the filter housing-the fuel heater and water in fuel sensor o-rings are a common leak and when parked if fuel leaks out-air gets in.
