Man this ain't good
 

Heater hose started leaking on the plastic fitting that fits into sorta nut casing.. right behind the t nut hose on the front off the engine, so I decided too tighten it a little and it twisted off, flush with the housing that it went into. Tried too get it out with a easy-out and that broke off and fell inside the housing.. now where would this go..Would it go down in the dome or the water pump, going too take the housing off tomorrow. Would be nice too have a heads up what I'm getting into here... Thanks

Will go from the manifold towards the cylinder head ports.

The leak was not from the threads of that fitting,but from the O-ring contained within it,unless it was nearly rotten off which is common also.

They are a fitting designed for ease of assembly at the plant and not long term reliability.

Get your local machinist to get the rest of the pieces out and install a normal barb fitting-stainless would be best that you can clamp a heater hose to and then cut back and do the same over the aliminum line,or replace the aluminum line completely with heater hose.

Be carefull how you route the hose if you decide that cause things get hot near the turbo.

Removed the Water bypass today and was lucky enough too get the broken peace out:scare2: Thanks Racer55 I'll take your advice and go that route.:c:

correct me if I am wrong but I believe that those thread are 3/4 NPT plumbing available at you local hardware/plumbing store and a little heat before you use the easy out will help a bunch

Back on the road again.. the only thing it doesn't through the heat like it used too, the temperature gauge fluctuates more..it must be getting more water too the heater core with that fitting.. but I can live with that... Thanks again for your help. :c:
