If it's not your truck then the owner should pay-or send the truck to the dealer to get the timing set and again-he pays.

Sorry to say that it can't be done with basic tools.
There is no way to set injection timing on a 94/95 electronic IP other than the scan tools mentioned above. If you own a 94/95 6.5 you really should invest in the software/cable that goes with GMTD ScanTech pro version. $160 for GMTD ScanTech $60 for the cable There is a way to make the cable for about $10 also but is a little crude. Since the vendor is not a site sponsor I can't post the link but PM me if you want the info. ---AutoMerged DoublePost--- The ECM has to learn where the IP physically is situated at to control timing and to even report the timing to a scan tool. The problem arises when the IP is moved or replaced-there will be a timing value in the computer that it thinks is correct and no matter where the IP's actual location is in relation to the crank the ECM won't know a change has been made unless it is commanded to relearn the new IP location-ONLY the above mentioned scan tools have the ability to force that relearn on a 94/95 6.5 electronic IP engine.
