1997 6.5 Differences from 1995?

Ok so heres the deal I was originally going to swap in a 1993 6.5 into my 1995 but I have been delayed and delayed. Then my buddy decided to sell his 97 6.5 with 188 000 kms on it for 700 bucks running and driving just body was shit so I snatched that up and now I plan on swapping it into my 95 because I believe it would be an easier more straight forward swap. So what are the differences between the 95 and 97 because I noticed the alternator is on the other side and it has a MAF. Havent looked too far into it but my question is when I swap it what do I need to change over? My buddy thinks i should switch ECUs wiring harnesses and gauge clusters what are your thoughts on that? Thanks guys

Make the 97 long block look just like the 95 everything will work together just fine-Ignore the maf since your 95 ECM can't connect to it or control it otherwise it is the same.

so just move the alternator over and a few other things and then plug it all in? Im hoping to do this all in a weekend so my truck wont be down for too long

Most likely you will have to swap the entire frt bracket assembly from one engine to the other-they are completely different-it's not just move the alternator.
