Suspension Lift Questions

Hey all, I have a few questions regarding suspension lift kits. I have a 95 Chevy K2500 6 lug. All the lift kits I've seen have been for the 1500. I'm assuming a 1500 lift kit would work correct? The suspension setup looks the same as the 1500, is it just beefier torsion bars and springs in the 2500? I'm looking at the rough country 6" lift kit, this one 6in Suspension Lift Kit for 88-98 Chevy / GMC 4wd 1500 Pickup/SUV | Rough Country Suspension Systems

A 6 lug is consider a light duty 2500 or a heavy half, buts its the same as a six lug thats a 1500. The lift should be exactly the same as long as its for a 6 lug

What size tire do you think I could clear? I have 285/75/16's now

With a 6" you should be able to clear 35's but you may need to do a little trimming.

Also considering 37"s, think they'd fit?

Mmmmm you'd be pushing it with 37's, I don't know for sure because mines not 4x4 or lifted but you might could squeeze em but offroading they would probably rub. you might could do a body lift also with the 6" and they should fit, but then you'd have to do some mods since its a 6.5 for cooling issues.
