98 6.5 td 90' oil filter adapter o ring sizes
Just finished new replacing the leaking oil lines with hydraulic hoses . I had to take the oil adapter off to remove the old line adapters and replace them with street ells. Cleaned up the housing and replaced the filter housing and now I have a new leak at the block to filter housing . Does anyone know the o ring sizes so I can order new ones while I continue oil spraying the underside of the truck.

Just finished up the oil filter 90' rebuild . I removed the old o rings and matched them up with new ones. I used a 115 on the mount bolt and a 215 in the housing to seal agaist the mount bolt . The block to adapter housing I used a 235 . Went together smoothly. No leaks . Total cost for lines fittings and orings . 72.00 $ . Hopefully last the life of the truck .

A seal shop suplied the above rings for $3.39 , . No leaks now. They recomended Nitril 70 , Duro O ring material. Thanks for the size information. It made it super easy at the seal shop counter. Pete |
