Engine stalled...

(2000 6.5TD L65 Thomas Built Bus) I was coasting approximately 20mph, no throttle with 17 passengers. The fuel tank had a bit over 1/8 diesel onboard. The engine stalled, the brake light illuminating was what clued me in to the fact the engine had stalled. That is how smooth this vehicle is. The current mileage is 111,500, purchased with 110,800 on the clock. During the stall I placed the trans in neutral, restarted instantly with no trouble, did not even come to a complete stop. Upon restarting the SES light was on, codes are P0251, P0236, & P0238. I am aware that P0251 can be set from hard maneuvering while low on fuel. We were just a few miles from where we were to drop off our passengers, at what point we had planned to refuel before this occured. We purchase our fuel from a Pilot truckstop & use Diesel Kleen fuel additive. The engine now takes a few extra seconds to crank now, upon starting it rattles for 2-3 seconds (sounds like a big block gas engine dieseling when shutting it off). After pulling the codes, I had half a tank of fuel onboard, cleared the codes, & upon restarting the SES light was immediately on again. In the morning I will use my friends scanner to see which code/how many codes are stored this time. Once the engine is running, it runs great, no smoke like always. Have any of you guys had these 3 codes that I listed occur before ?? Any ideas/help would be great. Thanks for your time.

Any further info on this problem?

Sounds lime you ran out of fuel, but also seems you now have a leak letting air in?

found inop lift pump

I replaced the lift pump with a new Delphi unit & purchase a Wix fuel filter. Bus has power restored again, it drives great, pulls to 70mph with no effort. After the test drive we stopped for dinner, came out to the bus after approximately 35 mins. Restarted vehicle, no more dieseling (gasoline engine dieseling sound) while starting. Upon this 2nd restart the SES reset itself, then the engine died. Started right back up no problem, SES was on at this point. Drove back home with no issues. Will pull the codes tomorrow. Thanks again for the help.
