Clean the connections on the pmd. I had a frayed wire on mine it would rev up and down at idle and shut off when I was driving. I fixed the wire and blew out all the dirt that was in the connections and been working good sense. There was dirt in the connection since it was in New Mexico, just dust and dust and more dust.:scare2:

You should not have a vacuum in the tank try running the truck with the fuel cap loose or replace the fuel cap with a new Diesel cap
|
be loosening the cap or replaceing it will this help it start

The glow light has a series of cycles-start engine after it goes off the first time-additional glow light cycles are afterglow and help when the engine is already running.
*2 for trying a loosened fuel cap. IP harness ground MUST be fastened to the IP. Symptoms sound like PMD failure? |
