93 6.5 turbo starting problems

So this morning I tried to start her up after cranking for a few minutes she started up then just died out after cranking for a few minutes again she started up and died out I crank there for a while longer and she started up I'm not too sure why I'm having such issues with starting, it seems as though I'm not getting enlightened fuel but my lift pump and ip seem to be working just fine cuz once she starts she runs like a champ its only after she has been sitting for a while over night or during the day once I get off work, so I guess really just cold start I have new glow plugs any ideas

The fuel heater O-ring and water in fuel sensor O-rings in the filter manager/housing tend to leak over time letting air into the fuel system when left to sit overnight or after an extended period.

That is where I would look first.

This would also be why I have the small fuel leak that seems to be coming from that area and also why I seem to have air in my fuel filter when I go to bless the system if I'm not mistaken???

I would say that is correct.

So I went ahead and replaced that o ring. But the problem persists I'm going to check my glow plugs any other ideas, she started the smornin but sure didn't want to

There are 2 O-rings,1 in the bottom and 1 in the side and there is always the filter O-ring to think about, the filters are 1 time use-if you remove it you must replace it,the O-ring can't stand being re-used.
