any fix to a injection pump on a 95 6.5
 
i took my truck to chevy and they said i need a new injection pump on my truck its a 95 6.5 its going to coast 2200 to fix it and i dont have it is there any easy fix to this without replacing it

not really. but if you have any mechanical skills, you could buy an injection pump for around $800 to $1200 and do it yourself

What are the symptoms?

It might not be the IP at all,it just pays the mechanic more to replace it than fix the real problem sometimes.

Many "bad IPs" are just a bad driver which are separate from the IP but mounted on it, need more info like codes & symptoms of what is happening, I've fixed a number of "bad IPs" myself with cleaning of GND lug on back of the pass side head which is the common electronics control gnd
