white smoke at start up

my truck will roll out some white smoke when i first crank it up and it smells like diesel fuel what may cause this? once it gets warm or drive it a minute it quits doing this.

I just replaced mine with SSDiesel glow plugs $75.00 now truck starts like my 24v cummins and no smoke.

Bosch Duratherm glows are the best you can get for these trucks-Rock Auto has a great price too.

Very little @ SS Diesel is a deal that can not be had better elsewhere,shop/ask around folks.
