Any Baseball Card Collectors Here

I'm lookin for info. I have several hundred baseball cards in mint condition and many of them from the late 1960's and older. I've tried for years to find out what if anything they are worth and no luck. I've looked through Beckets a few times through the years and not found most of the ones I'm most curious about, they don't even list em. Is there anyplace else to look or anyplace I can take em to to get an honest answer on them. I've also taken them to some local shops and they have never seen many of them either to be able to answer me. They will of course buy them if I just want to get rid of them.:argh:

If I could find out they are worth selling I'm tired of storing them, if not I'll save em and hand em down someday I guess.

Dont take them to any shops they will lie. I have a Nolan Ryan rookie card that is signed by him and took it to a local shop to see what it was worth, this was my answer from them "well, because he signed it, it is now worth nothing" I asked them why and they said well because there is ink on the card of course. Before I left they said if I really wanted to sell it they would give me $20 or so for it.

Needless to say I still have the card. Have you tried looking on ebay to see if anyone else is selling a card like yours?

I have a stack of cards too, mostly 60's and 70's. I've tried before too but it's tough and very time consuming. Darn box has been lugged around for so many years, suprised I haven't lost it yet.

My brother has a huge collection of cards. I could check with him to see where the best place is to check for the value of cards. But I do know that you won't get what they are worth at a shop. You just have to find the right person.

I watched Ebay for a while, but i refuse to even sign into ebay anymore. To much spyware downloaded every time you sign in and i have also had my user name and password hacked twice now and just got lucky enough to catch it before anything was bought or sold in my name.

Heath I'm like you. I've had this tuff since was a young kid and am just tired of havin it hang around. How ong will it be before a fire, flood, tornado or thief takes their toll. It's also not like I care much about the stuff anymore, just more junk to me and i have way to much of that around.

Jazz, I'll take any info I can get, thanks. Don't make special call for this but when your talkin to him if you think about it I'll take any ideas he has.

I have a ton of cards myself but from what i hear the market is down and cards are worth less than they were10 years ago.
