dmaxjenn 05-02-2012 04:09 PM

yupe we love him. Now it will heal and he will be as good as new.... sorta.. I hope that scar heals up nice. cause it looks horrible right now....:humm:I think crasy glue would have been a better option my self.......ive done it before and it works amasing. also unpasturised honey will clean up any wound, the bacteria is attracted to the honey.:)

Whit 05-02-2012 04:44 PM

Damn Jenn................looks like a heck of a wound, hope he gets to feelin better, looks dont matter eh hoser

GuyWithA24Valve 05-02-2012 05:08 PM

dmaxjenn 05-02-2012 06:00 PM

Hes better already hes jumping around barking, trying to get that big thing off his head. as long as he doesnt hook the stitches with his claws,.. drain is out on friday then there wont be "stuff" draining down his nose.

tiremann9669 05-02-2012 06:27 PM

LORDDiESEL 05-02-2012 06:30 PM

I'd do anything to help my 2 dogs out. They're more than just animals, they're loved family members. Remember, money is just paper. Your dogs would do anything to save you and i would do that same. :c:

dmaxjenn 05-02-2012 06:36 PM

Wasnt too much only $670.00 not as bad as the first quote were they wanted to charge us another 200 to send it away for a byopsy. We knew it wasnt a tumor cause he just bonked heads with my little girl , they both got bumps on there heads, but his kept growing so we new it was just a clot of some sort. the place of it was a bit worrisome. its all good tho now.:):tu: ill post ina few weeks to show yea all how pretty he really is.. and hes gay so yea hes a pretty dog. lol

rubberfish 05-02-2012 10:47 PM

Holy scarface. :nshock:
Good to hear he's already doing better.
My two dogs go after each other every spring it seems.
Bleeding all over and shit. Trip to the vet for pain meds and
antibiotics and in a couple of days they're good as new.
They seem to heel pretty quick.

There is a point where the humane thing to do is to just kill them.

dmaxjenn 05-03-2012 01:15 PM

Hmmm,:humm: well i disagree with ya on that one, if they can live out anouther 5 -6 years then you give them the chance.

Wish it was that easy to do with the old ex,, id like to be humane and just put him outta his misery too, but its not legal.:axe:

Out of his misery, or out of your misery?

But all kidding aside, I was not trying to say that your choice was wrong, for it was not, I was merely stating that after certain injuries...

dmaxjenn 05-03-2012 11:13 PM

yea i suppose if they get ran over and are dying for sure.. i believe in that. but his was a little head bonk with my 6 yr old then 4 yr old, she won! her heads harder..lol:)

bill-d-c 05-04-2012 02:28 PM

Money well spent, good for you for seeing it that way...some wouldn't.

i can tell by looking at him he has a great personality!

if i'm not mistaken he looks like a golden retriever, i have 12 baby golden retriever puppies that are only 2 weeks old :scare2:

dmaxjenn 06-13-2012 01:15 PM

Yes he is a GR.. 12 puppies omy goodness. i want one.............:) love them so much. gentlest dogs ever.

Truck Guy99 06-14-2012 11:49 AM

:nite:Gentlest dogs ever? You never met our dogs!! We have two black lab dogs and 1 yellow lab. One of the black lab dogs is too laid back. I seriosly have found her on the ground thinking she was dead many a time. She is picky about her food just like her owner, me. I used to go rabbit hunting in our pasture almost every day, and I once brought her one that was almost dead, but still twitching a little, and she picked it up, dropped it at my feet, and walked off. Then I called over the spaz of a yellow lab and she snatched it like a hobo and a hot dog:badpun:. I later came out and found Shelly (the black lab) took it from Goldy (the yellow lab) and was asleep on it using it for a head pillow! Same with a possum she killed a few weeks later!

:hijack: But seriously, glad to hear your dog is doing better.

Ltk 06-14-2012 12:55 PM

we had a black lab that was the most hyper animal i have ever laid eyes on. it had a great personality but it was too hyper!

then we had a brown lab thats in my signature, that was 15. he had the best personality out of all my animals and was VERY laid back. i thought he was dead quite often also. wouldnt move unless food was involved. he wouldnt eat dog food either, only scraps like ribs or pork chops or steak. he was spoiled to death:c:

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

and jenn if you would like one there is 4 or 5 blonde ones, but they arent pure bred. the dad is half GR, half yellow lab. and the mom is a mutt. but the babies all look like lab mixes and the gold ones all i believe will look very close to a golden retreiver.
