Any one else fed up with this economy?

Seems like every time I get a little money saved up I end up having to spend it. Taxes screwed me I owe the government and local money. My fiancé finally got a job worth having that's not temporary and granted I work at a steel mill I just cantilever catch a break.

since the day it started.:DD::argh:

shouldn't the prices be going down in a bum economy?

1999stroker 03-13-2012 01:28 AM

That's what I thought. I make decent money where I work, have good benefits which is rare nowadays and I'm still pushing pennies and streching pay checks. My fiancé makes half of what I make a week and that's basically our so called "extra" cash but it's always used for bills.

pop417 03-13-2012 08:27 AM

who can save any money when fuel prices go up weekly.:argh:

Mdub707 03-13-2012 12:16 PM

I don't even want to think about how much I spend on fuel now. I know my raises haven't compensated for the cost of living in no way... I'm just glad I don't have school loans right now. Still can't ever seem to get ahead though...

Eddiebuntain 03-13-2012 12:49 PM

I've been working on improving my fuel economy for since 2005. Fuel prices might dip here and there, but I doubt the overall trend will be anything but up.
On the positive side, our business is starting to pick up again, and there's several shop looking to hire techs, as well as other businesses looking to hire. Unfortunately it'll take a while to undo the damage accumulated during the slow times, and problems are going to continue showing up.

gunman41mag 03-13-2012 05:08 PM

well guys, because of this economy, I have gotten G R E A T deals on HOUSE, TRUCK, GUNS, AMMO:yeah:

1999stroker 03-14-2012 12:21 AM

I don't see how people can afford a new cars, a nice home, having kids and all the bills on top of it. I'd sure like to know how they do so. Half my monthly income goes to bills almost if not more. Not including break downs, clothes, and other necessities.

thats what i do. i dont have any cable, satellite tv, i only have one phone and its for work. i share my internet. i obtain a lot of my items from ebay, dollor and thrift stores. make black diesel to help supplement my fuel costs, get my groceries from winco, rarely buy name brand items, etc.

i work hard at work to be able to maintain/keep my job. in a few years i was able to save enough to buy a foreclosure home. i turn my lights off when not in use, use an area heater for one room that i am in instead of central heating the whole house. dont waste water, and so on.

from this i am able to make ends meet. i am quite content to ride this one out. it sucks but it is more of how you manage your expenses.

dont let this one get the best of you.

Jason

1999stroker 03-15-2012 12:31 AM

I understand that.I have to have a phone for work, unfortunatly they dot pay bill, granted I don't need a smart phone but I don't use home Internet, I also, do the same with water and electric, but around here it's hard to find a decent place to live or rent that's not a complete shit hole and you have be worried about theft for cheap.and I'm not willing to risk my or my fiancée safety for that. I know what y'all are saying but I'm just venting, lol.

and replace him with another dumb ass...

and what makes these guys candidates anyways? i guess it doesn't matter what your qualifications are anymore, as long as you have money you can become president.

four years is not enough time to repair a country, plenty to ruin it. you get a good guy in office and he runs out of time putting together policies and other actions that will help the USA, the next guy throws that all out and tries his own stuff and wrecks it for everyone. get a bunch of bozos and a few honest guys and the country will never recover.

when was the last good president? Roosevelt? Lincoln? Washington??? how many where there?

rant done.

Jason out...

Ltk 03-15-2012 01:19 PM

if he gets voted in for another 4 years this country deserves everything that happens to it... for every human with common sense like those of us here, there is 15 with not enough common sense to get out of the rain..

we need to take over the government and re-write everything and start over for anything to happen. keeps getting more and more complicated.. we've elected jackasses before, we will do it again. we traded bush for obama? obama is a little worse.. whats next?!

fact, Illegal aliens were interviewed by Illinois news man, Illegal bragged of claiming 8 children in Juarez on his tax refund as dependents and they had never left Mexico.
Fact. I paid thousands last year and was legal.
Fact< I won't start my business back up until the rat bastard in office is gone and friendlier policy towards business is back in play.
Fact< Banks are avoiding loans to homes, businesses, and individuals and routing money they get from the Fed for 0% interest and investing in Tbills and CD's back to the government at a no risk 3%.
Fact< the fed is right now trying to make banks give high risk, low interest loans to organizations that made huge re-election contributions.
Fact> there is a new bill in the house trying to tax diesel at three times it's current rate introduced by Dems.
Fact> I already voted and wasn't for 4 more years of illegal aliens, higher taxes, big bird, bayonets, BS, and Killing Navy SEALS so it looks like somebody has a handle on the middle east. :yeah:

RanchhandTCR 10-31-2012 06:18 PM

Yea, I could do that to where I live but I have guns and stuff I care about and dont want to put up with other people B.S and their drama... I dont like sharing. But everytime I get ahead something either happens, or I have to pay something outta pocket..
