i gotta get my boat back together, i was thinking of hauling traps on Saturdays and nights for some extra $$. labor day through memorial day it's illegal to haul traps on Sunday's..

i dunno just some stupid laws they come up with.
been that way since the 70's that i'm aware of.

i been told it was to force lobstermen to spend more time with their family's
i have also been told it's to slow down the part timers.
like i'm gonna be ;)

in lobstering there is a ton of usless regulations. some the wardens just over look and lets us get away with.

nothin juch new. got a new job started last week. im doin the shipping and recieving for Donkey Truck Carried forlifts. i like it alot better than being in the household moving business. no new mods as of rite nowwaitin for some money then the race is on.

Its legal to do your loberstering during the night? When I was first mate on a commercial lobster boat out of the L.I. sound it wasn't legal to fish during certain parts of the night. its dangerous anyway. well, more dangerous. We didnt have the Sunday rule though
