Having knee surgery done on Monday, getting my ACL and minicus repaired. Been putting it off for a year and now its time, getting a little tired of my knee just going out when I turn on it, not to mention it is a little painful. So I am supposed to just lay on the couch or in bed until THUR after the surgery, man I am going to go nuts. Being the active type of person its going to be hard to lay there that long. You will probably see me on here more during that time, trying to pass the time.

good luck i am going in for my 5th knee surgury myself on the 7th i also have a torn miniscus, but i actually enjoy surgury

 

Thats why I quit playing sports having surgery on any of my joints just doesn't interest me at all. Good luck

I have been back to work for two and a half weeks, the knee is doing alright,its just stiff. It been busy had knee surgery and two weeks later we moved and sold the house.

 

Did you have an allograft or autograft?

 

Um I am not sure, it was which ever one they cut the middle out of the tendon from the front of the Knee.

 

o ok, you had a autograft of the Patella tendon. I am a Orthopaedic Surgical Assistant, I was just curious. We do mostly allografts (from a cadaver).
