We're (the Marines in Indianapolis) running the toys for tots program in central Indiana. The Marine Corps is the primary coordinator for Toys for Tots for Indiana, and our unit is responsible for central Indiana. Our warehouse is located out of Indy. We collect the toys, sort them, pack them, and then distribute them out to the organizations, to give to the kids, every year. This year, due to personnel issues, we're shorthanded at our warehouse, sorting toys and packaging them. I was throwing this out there to see if any of you might have time to come down to our warehouse during the week, or even might be able to schedule a weekend event, where get a group of you, to come down and help us out? If there's any interest, let me know via pm or email, (dennho p @ gmail . Com). Minus the spaces. Generally speaking, since our warehouse is small, we may or may not be able to fit a large group of guys at once, but if its a weekend thigh, we might be able to work something out if there's enough interest.
It's a good program, and we end up giving back to most of your communities, if you live incentral Indiana. Let me know if you're interested in helping, or could help out. Thanks!
