Smoking people out

:td:On you tube there is a video of these guys driving a 6.4 pulling a boat and they stop and ask a lady jogging down the street if she smokes. Then they WOT the truck and blast her with just black smoke and soot. How messed up is this and why would you do this to someone. Not to mention how it would affect the rest of us diesel drivers and what it looks like to people that already think diesels pollute too much. It’s just messed up.

1993firstgennewbie 11-18-2011 01:57 PM

Hahahah I wouldn't do it to a hottie like that but ismoke bums people that cut me off occupy Denver idiots and people who stay in the fast lane for no reason

The hosser 11-18-2011 03:02 PM

yah that i can understand. even the idiots that are in the HOV lane that dont belong there. cool to see someone else for colorado on DB.

In Missouri years ago as the story goes some old lady that had friends in the government didn't like the tall trucks headlight shining in the rear window of her caddy. She complained to her butt buddies in the government and they passed the bumper hieght law which is still a law today.
This is all it takes to wipe the hot rod diesels we enjoy out, one pruny ass and one idiot in the same spot. I try to hold the smoke down all the time, I used to like my s10 blazer on 42 inch tsl's but the law shut that down. I like my hot rod diesels but one shriveled up c@@t can shut that down also.
I really think it's only a matter of time till the ca. comis move east and all it takes is the strike of the pen to make our life suck.

EasternAggie 11-19-2011 04:29 AM

Actually I think its a 6.0.....

but anyways I have had several friends show me the vid, and say "look at this freakin awesome video!!!!". I just :argh:

cougar 11-19-2011 01:29 PM

I only do it to people who have worked hard to deserve it. My best one was when I still had my old Navstar Ferd. I was trying to be courteous and warned her that this truck will let out a puff (okay, cloud) of smoke on start, but this woman just had to be a B:moon: . So, with my foot to the floor I cranked over the old tar pot. Needles to say, the bank wouldn't let me use the drive up tellers anymore.

RAW 11-19-2011 02:49 PM

It was on you tube, but it appears to be removed.

EasternAggie 11-19-2011 03:00 PM

In all honesty, I remember when I thought that stuff was freakin cool, but Ive long since grown out of that.

white93 11-19-2011 08:31 PM

I like seeing how much power I can make with the least amount of smoke and heat. Ive never been into making big clouds of smoke, kind of pointless to me:td:

fordornothing 11-19-2011 08:45 PM

well when fuel is $4 a gallon. do you really want to be just wasting it and blowing it out the back end of your pickup? i don't see the point in it. I have a friend that thinks it's the coolest thing since sliced bread and everytime he gets on it i just tell him how stupid he looks. but you can't tell him different.

Its all just matter of preference really. Heck, to some people, making power over stock is pointless, while others (like most of the members of this forum) are trying to increase the power of their trucks.

My truck is generally tuned efficiently, it blows a puff or cloud, then boost catches up and it clears up, but every now and then Ill crank the starwheel up and go black out some country road, just for the heck of it. But there arent ever cars or people on the road if I do.

The hosser 11-22-2011 09:43 AM

Im glad that video is off youtube... so no other yahhoo gets any ideas..:jump:

I really miss the old days before diesels were so popular. Now every snot nose kid with a bad attitude owns one. Not saying that is the problem with every truck that rolls coal but its a good part of the problem.

Sensible statement Dr. Evil.

Mdub707 11-22-2011 01:10 PM

It's the new rice, not much we can do about it. It's worse when you can pick up an old 7.3 or 12V so cheap and they're so easy to make smoke come out... A high school kid who keeps a steady minimum wage job could afford one.

It was a 6.4 in the vid btw.

fordornothing 12-11-2011 01:11 PM

i went to welding school with a kid that had a d- max who did a video like that. just another punk kid who shouldn't have a diesel.

smalltownspeed 10-27-2013 03:35 PM

I saw on FB somebody did that shit to a guy I know who is in a wheelchair due to a MX accident... Pissed me off... :dang: ... That kind of shit deserves a wrench, a drain pan, and a few minutes alone with the truck in a parking lot... Or at least a good beating...

I reserve the right to smoke, for the dumb asses who tailgate me, or speed up to not let me over when I use my blinker... You know, good reasons haha

gunman41mag 11-07-2013 02:30 AM

HERE'S ANOTHER VIDEO of these two idiots doing the same thing

IbeCummins02 01-20-2014 08:03 PM

ya ill agree with dr. evil there are many people that just shouldn't have a diesel but who am I to tell others what they can and can not own, on a more immature note I seen that video and ill admit I thought it was funny. I'm still young enough to enjoy smoke however I don't like when people just smoke because they can. some people are practically just begging to be smoked...

David A Cunningham 01-26-2014 12:02 AM

a guy that i used to hang out with LOVED to cloud out the main drag in our town, long story short, he pissed off some guys by continually harassing them driving around the block to smoke them out, he ended up getting a gone in 60 seconds style treatment, cable wrapped around rear axle kids broke his window and ran, when he went to chase em, bye bye rear end. i will say as big of an asshole he was, he deserved it...

josediaz 03-01-2014 11:47 AM

Hahaha funny thing and yes it is 6.0
