I live in iowa and am strongly thinking about packing my **** up and driving up to fairbanks anybody have any advice for me.

Whats in Alaska? Way too cold for me, I like a nice mixture of temps

 

Im in Alaska right now few hours north of fairbanks. Why do you want to move there

 

Hunting fishing nobody to bother me i hate the city

 

You can find all that in the lower 48. It is brutal up here in the winter. Im guessing -40ish wind chill right now

 

Not many women in Alaska.

 

Why not just go west? Montana has lots of open space. North Dakota, Wyoming....

 

Eastern Oklahoma, Southern Missouri, or Arkansas or somewhere in that general area would get my vote. Most of its wooded, fairly mountainous, Im not a fan of flat land and no trees. Lots of hunting and fishing opportunities, deer, turkey, duck, pheasant, squirrel, hog, coon, you name it, and lots of lakes and rivers to fish, all in a fairly temperate climate with bearable summers and winters.

Cant speak for the other areas, but I grew up in SE Oklahoma, and there are some dang good people down there. Grew up running around the mountains and huntin most things that moved

 

I would say Montana, Wyoming, west river South Dakota, North Dakota. Any of those places

 

Howabout down the road from Whit in WY?
