hmm you wear wranglers do ya?
Hell ya don't stop wearing those.... It just really sucked cause last night at the George Strait concert here I am some what single and i so thought i was gonna see a lot of wrangler butts...
Gerogia is just not the place to see 'em.
I was telling my friend how to spot a real cowboy and a wanna be.
their were a lot of cowboy hats and boots but these idiots were wearing straw hats in the winter time....
I told her a real cowboy wears a felt cowboy hat during fall and winter and you only wear straw cowboy hats in the spring and summer and these guys were not wearing wranglers.... It was so sad.

well for 25 bucks i can buy a pair or wranglers and wear them til they fall apart, it usually take about 2-2 1/2 years for them to wear out, so i figure thats a great investment, im not a cowboy, never owned a cowboy hat but wore one to prom with my western tuxedo and only owned 1 pair of cowboy boots, just spent the last 23 years on a farm in ohio, ever heard the song "i was country when country wasnt cool"......thats these people now adays with the pressed ,starched, perfect, never been dirty wranglers and a 35 dollar wrangler rodeo shirt that has never seen the back of a bull (my dress shirts come directly from walmart for 7.99 and double as work shirts in the summer) and a big fake dinner plate gold belt buckle........my belt buckle was made in 1979 by my dad when he was stationed at 29 palms marine corp base outside death valley california, its a real scorpion about 2 inches long with its tail curled to the side, set into a small clear oval piece with white cotton behind it and set into a small pewter belt buckle, its never been polished, its rarely if ever cleaned, has horrible scratches and has been fixed more than once, and i have wore it just about every day for the last 8 years, prom, homecoming, weddings, fixing trucks and tractors, it will always be worn..........people can call themselves whatever they want, country, hick, farmer, redneck, etc........but when it comes down to it, the ones that were born and raised outside the city limits know better and know who the real ones are........until last year the road in front of my old house was dirt......

Cool:U:
I don't think just because you grew up outside the city limits you know better
then the ones who grew up in the city:w2:
Ask some of these fellas here from Houston!!! My husband was born and raised in the city limits of Houston his dad was a bull rider, bareback rider, and my hubby was a calf roper. They got dirty every day and still wore those stratched jeans and shirts. Maybe it's different were you are at though.

Well they say never judge a book by it's cover, I think it's got some logic to it.
Down here from GA to Texas that I know their are many true country folks girls and guys who are very good at getting dirty and have farms and ones that don't work on farms but still like to get in the mudd but when it comes to going out they still get those stracthed shirts out.
I am one of those. I always have my shirts starched and my rockie jeans, babe just because we do this does not mean we don't get dirty, Down here country is always cool.:U:
Maybe is different where your at and the people are different I don't know.
But I know a lot of bull riders, calf ropers and just the regular ol cowboys and cowgirls who don't own a horse but they still are ok to get a little dirty and go out in their strach clothes:up:
I don't buy my clothes just one place though I will shop from Wal-Mart to Macy's. If I like it then I will get it. But that's a girl thing...:igive:
Anyway I think you can be raised in the city and regruardless what you wear you can still know how to bust your butt outside and not afraid to get dirty.
Me being a girl I love seeing that wrangler patch!!!!!!!and the big ol buckel,
and nice shirt:w2: A cowboy hat will be the 1st thing that I spot out in a crowd!!! then the wranglers:5:
I wasn't saying you were a cowboy.... I was just saying i wanted to see some cowboys at the concert......
