Default How do u heat your shop

Just cleaned and fired up the used oil burner. all ready for winter. what does everyone else use for heat in your shop? before i got my shop built it was hand warmers and carhartts.

So where's the vent?


I use a couple of 98% efficient gas furnaces in our shop, one for the office and one for the sheet metal shop. When we slow down, we're going to put a radiant heater in the warehouse/ mechanic area. Next years plans call for a roof top package a/c for the sheetmetal shop as well, gotta keep the guys happy.

I use a power vented, natural gas Modine Hi Efficiency unit heater. 175,000 BTU

It vents out the back side on the top, the hole in the center top in a air inlet

Wood stove and coveralls. Still have 3 or 4 more trees to drop, cut, and split before it gets cold
